Some fun facts you never asked for
1. I have only ever owned corgis (meet my tiny monster Daisy to the left - don't fall for that face).
2. When I'm not writing, I love to read, hike, and volunteer at the animal shelter. I have a very intense competition against myself over my Goodreads reading challenge each year.
3. I first realized I wanted to be a writer in the third grade because of a wonderful teacher. I saw her in the grocery store recently and she told me how much she missed my writing and being able to use my head as an armrest when I was line leader (truly the kindest short joke I've ever received).
